Started his career by serving the Nation as a Short Service Commissioned Officer in Indian Army from 1987 to 1992 and participated in various assignments including the IPKF in SriLanka, the ULFA issue in Assam and on the J & K Borders – to ensure a safe and secure India. After leaving the Indian Army, he continues to serve the nation, by providing Security Services of a different kind.

He is the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry Chapter of CAPSI (Central Association of Private Security Industry), the National voice of the Security Industry and also the Member of the Governing Council.

In recognition of his consistent, high level performance, he was awarded the Professional Excellence Award for the year 2006 in the Private Security Guarding and Commercial Investigation Business in India.

Capt. Shibu Isaac has been conferred with the ‘Best Secretary’ award by Rotary International - Dist 3230, for the year 2007 – 2008, which honors and recognizes voluntary contributions made to the society, by sharing their resources, time and expertise to bring about visible changes in the community. Recipients of this highly prestigious award should have demonstrated long term commitment to social service needs of the community and serve as role models for others to emulate.
